As an industry voice through local, provincial, and national
committees and task forces, one of the primary roles of SICA
is to foster an environment that creates a fair and equitable
tendering process. Much of what SICA does influences policy
and practice in the construction industry. To reach good policy
decisions, SICA relies on the many forums of exchange to discuss
the issues:
- Monthly Meetings with Owners
- Consultant/Contractor/Owner Workshop
- SICA Standards and Practices Committee
- BCCA Standards and Practices Committee
It is through these venues that we open up the lines of communication
to create a strong partnership.
