Pre-Bid Website: Available to our members as part of the membership dues, the Pre-Bid website provides information on projects at their early stages. This assists our members in planning their jobsites, crews, scheduling, and budgets ahead of the competition. With direct connection to architects, engineers, and general contractors, as well as vigilant searches of media sources and municipal documents, we are your source for upcoming projects. Tendering Information: Knowledgeable staff is ready to assist SICA Members with any part of the tendering process by offering advice and information on policies and procedures. Tendering Policies & Practices: SICA works behind the scenes with government bodies and industry representatives to ensure fair and equitable tendering practices for the entire industry. Some recent initiatives include the “Utility’s Locate Program” concerning the responsibilities for locating and marking underground facilities, and the establishment of the new standardized Contract Documents for Publicly Funded Construction Projects.
