Not being close to Kelowna, we find that the Online
Planroom is a great resource for our company. Our staff
are able to review the documents online, saving us time
and money. We have access to documents that aren’t
available in our local Planroom, without having to travel
to view plans. We really like the fact that most of
the time the online specifications are posted in trade
sections – this saves us a great deal of time,
as we can go straight to our section, without having
to scan through the entire specifications.

I use the Online Planroom frequently. I find it has
current information, and is easy to access. I can view
projects all over BC, regardless of whether the documents
are in my local Planroom or not. As I don’t have
to leave my office to view plans, I save time and money
– I’m there if a client calls, I save unnecessary
fuel costs, and I don’t have to be concerned about
weather conditions. With bidding opportunities available
through-out the province, it’s essential to have
easy access to the tender documents, as well as up-to-date
project information – the Online Planroom provides
this, and is easy to use.

I like the fact that the Online Planroom is very easy
to use. With the addenda online, I don’t have
to worry about missing any relevant changes to a project.
We find the “new today” search feature very
handy; it’s a great way to make sure we know about
the latest bidding opportunities. As we are located
in the Kootenays, plans may not be available in our
local Planroom, so we find the Online Planroom to be
a great source for information. The document sequencing
saves us time, as we can quickly jump to the particular
drawing(s) we wish to view. The tools in the document
viewer are handy as well, particularly the zoom feature
– I like the fact that I can zoom in on a particular
area or view the entire page. While we can print off
specifications for ourselves, we usually like to have
full size drawings, so we find the online ordering feature
to be extremely useful. The order form is simple to
complete, the price is reasonable, and the turnaround
is great.

We find that the Online Planroom is very convenient,
as we do not have to run down to the Planroom to view
the latest tenders. With frequent feature updates, we
find more to like all the time – we really enjoy
the newest feature, where we can click on the project
sheet icon to view all the pertinent information on
one screen, and then go directly to the documents. We
can order documents online, and print our own specifications.
The Planroom location tab is great, we know which planrooms
have the physical documents on hand, so we don’t
have to waste time calling or going to the wrong Planroom.
The Online Planroom is a valuable source of tendering
information, from knowing what is available, to being
able to review the plans.

our company, the Online Planroom is nothing but a time
saver! It’s great to not have to go to the Planroom.
We do everything online – review the plans and specs,
order copies, get updates on closings, and most importantly,
see last minute addendums. We can keep on track with all
the latest happenings on a project, without having to
re-schedule our day to accommodate a trip to the Planroom.
