Safety
Blueprint Reading
Carpentry
Plumbing
Electrical
Trade Math
3
Weeks of Level III First Aid Certificate Training
3 Weeks of Practical On-Site Training with employer
1 week Job Search
Eligibility:
Possess
minimum of Grade 10 education and be 19 years old
If under 19 years old, Grade 12 education is required
Take a math assessment test
Pass the Construction Safety Training System (CSTS). To be
taken after funding approval, and within one week of course
start date
Attend a mandatory information session
Conduct a personal interview with the Program Coordinator
Have a personal commitment to a career in construction

program is adapted to meet the changing needs of the construction
